Fall could be on its way...

It could be on its way, maybe....just maybe.

But first you have to see the correct way to suck your fingers. The only way to do it is with both of your index fingers.

And here we have a pumpkin shot - the subject was being very fussy and didn't care for laying around with pumpkins all morning. She may not be used for another gig unless she stops her diva ways.

Sock Monkey Hat!

How could I forget to put up the sock monkey hat pictures? I waited all summer for this Etsy shop to open back up so I could order this adorable hat for her. Of course I could have ordered it from another shop because they are all over Etsy but I waited for this one because I think hers are the cutest ones.
Now I just have to get S her own sock monkey...a pink one of course

5 months

Five months already! And I am two weeks late posting the pictures. But hey - I got them up before 6 months.
Sarah is sleeping through the night, finding her little girl squeal and has a tooth! One little pearl white tooth on the bottom. And it is a sharp little thing let me tell you.
She had cereal for the first time yesterday evening and she liked it. I was very surprised because she opened her little mouth right up for the spoon and was very excited about eating. Of course we recorded it because we are huge dorks like that.
I need blackmail material for when she is older you know...

Can't sleep

So I made some Apple Pie Pork Chops and put them in the freezer for later on next week. Now I already have a meal ready to go and just have to pull the bag from the freezer and toss it in to the crock pot some morning. I think I will start doing all our meals this way - it would make my life easier and would probably be easier on the grocery budget.

But then I may turn in to one of those crazy ladies that buy 15 pounds of pork chops because they were on sale and have to think up a dozen different ways of how to cook pork chops for the next month so the family doesn't realize all they have been eating is pork chops.....yeah, that wouldn't work for me so much.

I put Sarah in our bed the other morning and you could see her little mind working

Wow Mom, my bed isn't soft like this

And just look at all your pillows - I don't even have one pillow

Poor little girl, she has it so rough.

We went and watched our niece play softball this morning - it was fun and she was really good! There were other teams there warming up, older girls and wow, they are pretty serious about their softball. Heaven help us if S is inclined to be in to the athlete thing...neither Jason or I know a thing about softball, basketball, football etc.... I mean I am already looking at ballet classes for her and haven't thought about sports. We realized today that we may have to learn about these things here soon if she wants to play sports! That should be interesting.....

Time does fly

I had to go back to work :( and have had no time to update! But of course I still take pictures of the princess S - here is some of what she has been up to:

Daddy this isn't how Mommy dresses me - I don't wear the puppy socks with this outfit!

Serious face

Louis with his charge

This is what happenswhen Daddy watches the princess

Looks like she had fun though - pretty proud of herself for getting off the mat

Blankies - it is what all the cool babies eat for dinner

I can't wait

Until it is time to do holiday baking! I don't wait until December to start - I usually begin in late October. That way I have everything all done and ready to go and I can pull out the cakes and cookies from the freezer to frost when I need them. So much easier that way - and the everything tastes just the same as if I had slaved all day in the kitchen making them the day before. Except this way I get to enjoy the holidays more.

I also can't wait until Miss S is old enough to join me in the kitchen. It is going to be so much fun teaching her to bake. I can't wait.

Of course all she does now is this all day:

But I did catch her making some baby babble sounds yesterday, the goos-goos and gahs. Very, very cute. And she started blowing raspberries, which made us both die with laughter. She is pretty good with the spit bubbles I will say.

Yes I did

Make a Fairy door for Sarah's room - Jason doesn't get it but I think it is adorable.
